I mean obviously from the standpoint that he’s completely evil and he deserves it, yeah. But in terms of winning, with his death pence would be the nominee. Would pence have a higher or lower chance of winning? Cause I have no doubt pence would be as bad if not worse than trump. Obviously we have no control over whether he lives or dies, but if he does I’m curious as to what you guys think would happen when pence gets the nomination.
The way I see it people are making the point that pence would win due to a combination of the sympathy vote and never trump republicans (who are few and far between) switching over. Then again, the upheaval from trump’s death could be jarring and cause the republicans to completely fumble it? Then again, again, trumps death could cause the dems to relax and assume victory pre emptively. Thoughts?
IMO Pence would call for "unity" and the media and the Dems would absolutely buy it.
