It definitely has real world consequences. We've already had our first Qanon murder. There have been other things too, like a mom using the Q people to plan kidnapping her kids back from CPS, a woman ramming other cars she thinks are carrying trafficked children, etc. There are also Q believers in government already, and others will probably win seats this year.
