I'm not a muscle bro. I work out solely to be appealing to the horny lads and to be intimidating to fascist chads. That's literally it.

I lift because picking heavy stuff up and putting it down is surprisingly very fun, and it makes me feel good. That it also makes me hot and fuckable is a neat benefit, because otherwise I'd probably have a hard time getting laid as a short, latino, gay trans guy. So even if I didn't find it fun anymore for whatever reason, I'd still lift so I could keep sucking the cocks of random hot guys.

I don’t do cardio because I hate it. On the other hand I love the feeling the day after a workout where your muscles are sore and you can feel the micro tears healing, literally feeling the gains coming in. I wish I could get into cardio enough to look attractive. It’s just hellish tho.

I feel this post. I'm big and have been getting more defined by weightlifting though had to stop because of the pandemic. I have had people avoid me and once even made one guy on the street run away by walking towards him while glaring, sun was in my eyes that time. I used to bemoan my size until my sister pointed out that when I'm nearby I tend to scare off predators. Intimidation is kind of awesome, the idea of winning a fight before it starts. I do temper this with being polite and friendly when I want to avoid scaring people. As for the lads I don't know but I hope I'm pleasing.

If that's how you use your gains you could look like the orc captain in return of the king and you would still be pleasing to the lads.

I don't know what return of the king is but thank you. I always inspired more to be an orge than an orc though. Looked it up now know what orc captian looks like.

I wish I could do that. I’m short af so every time I try to scare off people that are acting like they deserve it they just escalate because they think they can win. I don’t want to go to jail for winning before they square up or start a fight with a dude that pulls a weapon so I just deescalate things unless I’m drunk af which usually means I’m too drunk to fight well anyways.

If you’re that big and intimidating be careful nobody tries to play cool and sucker you later. Being big like that makes the best move against you to win quickly and decisively.

Thanks for the advice, I'll be careful. If worse comes to happen I do know how to fight, got green belt in karate wanted to go higher but had to stop because of money issues. Once in a spar I gave a guy what I thought was a light jab and ended up bruising his ribs. This was before weightlifting so I'm kind of worried about hurting someone. I think once people know me they find me sympathetic and leave me alone though. I think I'm average height 5'9" just wide, my sister says I'm built like a strongman. On predators I would say they are cowards. My oldest sister has lived with two abusive guys both taller than me but I still scare them. They had kids from previous marriages bigger than me but seem to be more beaten down by their dads. I think you can be scary still you just need the right attitude. My mom is short and round but doesn't take any shit. She survived run ins with the klan inTexas, two abusive husbands, and trekking through the desert to get here, she's legal now. She is getting older now but is still ready to throw down, we got her to use social fighting to deal with people now and she seems to have a knack for it.

I exercise because it’s one of the things that brings me joy. I encourage people that are having trouble committing to working out to keep trying different things until they find something that clicks with them. The concept of being committed or dedicated to something to me is a fuck. Long term, I don’t believe people do things that they don’t like to do. I think you gotta find something you love.

I keep flip flopping between wanting to be muscular enough to impress people and being a soft femboy.

Grow your hair out and get ripped. The ancient warrior look is hot as fuck precisely because the long hair can add some femininity especially if you’re clean shaven

Both is the best answer, muscle doesn’t teach you how to defend. Also if we’re being purely utilitarian about this have some but not a lot of fat like the gladiators used to. Could save your life if you get stabbed.

the thing is I could never hit anybody without bursting into tears. So I have to LOOK scary enough that it never gets to that.

I keep myself fit because lifting things gets me high and makes me feel more like an animal just doing its thing.
