Some people are such suckers, such credulous, gullible marks for giving weight to this that I weep that I am a Marxist who morally cannot take advantage of them.

Biden is a politician's politician. He knows how to campaign and offer cheap dog whistles to ignorant voters who won't follow up on his actions. This is such a meaningless statement disconnected from real class analysis that I could imagine some Republican at a stump speech in Iowa uttering it.
