Man I’ve been completely ootl on anything going on outside the daily megathreads. I think a lot of people on here just need to fucking limit their screen time. Check the megathread or news sub like max two hours a day and then go read a book or go outside or something. Interact with real people. Internet drama is weird as fuck, it’s not real life it has no bearing on anything. Jesus fucking christ don’t spend your entire life online.
This is basically the truth, a spin off discord group is trying real hard to force the rest of us to give a shit about their personal beef and are making themselves out to be perpetual victims with no real suggestion on how to fix it.
I’ve brought it up here a few times, but there’s a group of like 5 people on the megathreads on the discord that dictate the entire platform and just don’t stop posting. Literally 24/7, from dusk to dawn. Anyone that’s that glued to the internet has a really big problem.
One of many huge issues with discord is that the people online all day automatically beat out the people who do all of their online was in an hour (even if they're 10x more active during that hour)
On a forum it's pretty much even if now biased the other way
