i dont know, maybe im off base completely, but this is very reactionary, no? can someone in good faith argue something even remotely similar to this and be right?

      this was my takeaway, they still are relying on the assumption that poverty is still, at its core, a reflection of somebody's worth and ability to "work hard."

      It's not intersectionality though. Intersectionality would be at least wondering whether the homeless white person is oppressed along some other axis like sexual orientation, gender, mental health, whatever.
