I'm so tired and so lonely. Everyday is a grey smear. I have serious bipolar depression, i'm single, i have a bad case of "unmarried out of work mid thirties male social isolation". And it's not just the pandemic, it's been like this since early last fall. But the pandemic and politics and the gnawing horror that every day will be the same as yesterday but worse, i just can't function in any meaningful way and I have no hope that anything better will ever happen. And my feet are cold. : (

I feel the same way and am about the same age. Just keep in mind our culture is kind of cold and lifeless. There is better out there. I've decided to move to Mexico because the culture is warm , welcoming and people celebrate life. I've had to travel a lot for work and my message is that even before Covid American culture is exceptionally bleak and cold. Plus I can't work 60 hours just to live a grey , meaningless life any longer

There is no way I can be healthy outside of the context of community and passion. Having lived here my whole life I never felt as welcome as I do in other countries :(

Are you seeking treatment? given your situation it is probably hard to. I realy hate how bad the system is at actually helping. Stay strong comrade.

Can I do anything that would make your day better? If you think it would help, you can tell me in a DM.

I have gotten very drunk. It is an improvement over sobriety because it allows one a certain distance from which the hell of existence seems comical.

What is there to do but laugh when you think of everything at once? Glad to hear you feel better.
