        Unless you wanna get into pretty far-flung denial of the facts we know, they appear to be detention centers where people are forcibly held apart from their families

          wrong, before the training center program ended entirely last December, students could live resident or go home on evenings and weekends.

      Except MS-13 is a made up threat while this is literally an active terrorist separatist movement sponsored by several foreign powers.

      Good comparison if those children in cages were an active militant separatist and jihadist threat that literally have tens of thousands of fighters all over Syria/Libya/Afghanistan and have been documented many, many times joining ISIS, Al Qaeda and Al Nusra to get experience for (NED funded) separatism in China

      the two policy responses are entirely different so how does that make any sense

      it's also the US argument for droning people but China's not droning
