Just had a thought about how if Bernie was the nominee, I've wouldn't have stopped campaigning for him all year.
But since they fucked him, here I am stoned playing video games on the day of the 'most important election ever'.
God, I spent nearly the entirety of January and February phonebanking, textbanking and just going beast mode on canvassing for Bernie. I used to work night shifts, sleep 6 hours and spend the remaining hours volunteering. Now I'm sitting doing fucking nothing and not feeling a single thing. What a waste of an election
I’ve been thinking the same. I took time off work to volunteer for Bernie in the primary season. Used vacation time to work four-day weeks to dedicate time to the cause. And I ended up on a pretty high level team that was doing really important work. I was planning on actually taking months away from my job to volunteer for Bernie if he won the nom. But like, 2020... fucking sucks.
