    Just saw a Tweet from yesterday by Dan Wasserman that said the suburban wave didn't carry over in the same way from 2018 because in the mid-term, the only way for these people to stick it to Trump was to vote downballot Dem. But this year, they could vote Biden to unseat Trump while still voting the downballot Republicans they liked.

    This is literally proof that's true.

    I get the impression a lot of Biden votes there probably down ballot voted to Republicans, which is a good example of why courting "moderate Republicans" don't work.

    i mean this is expected though, look how gerrymandered his district is. hard to gerrymander a statewide or nationwide vote like the presidency that effectively.
