There's breadtube and then there's a bunch of other people who get lumped in with breadtube because they make videos and aren't reactionaries. Like, Lindsay Ellis is a liberal but she's not breadtube, she makes videos about media and stuff.

I think she also got lumped in because she’s friends with Natalie and a few of the others. She’s also criticises capitalism a bunch, but never goes into solutions or alternatives, and she’s also done a video on Marxist media criticism.

Oh, I haven't really watched a lot of her stuff, pretend I was talking about Jenny Nicholson then. She associates with leftist youtubers but doesn't really make many political statements beyond saying it's good to be nice and not a reactionary.

An anti-capitalist who doesn't talk about solutions or alternatives doesn't really sound like a liberal to me tbh. Voting for Biden doesn't make you a liberal.

Breadtube is leftism on youtube, there are no breadtube membership cards and there is no CEO of breadtube intent on using Noam Chomsky to propagandize against a state that doesn't exist.

I've slept on it and realized we've probably just seen people use the word differently, I'm gonna go make fun of rightists instead of talking semantics with someone I probably agree with 90%
