This is going to turn into an argument of personal responsibility and victim blaming. You can already see it with liberals down in the comment section - "if everyone just wore a mask, we wouldn't be talking about lockdowns anyway".

By March of next year, they'll be victim-blaming and saying stuff like - "those people died cause they were STUPID and wouldn't wear a mask!"

I'm already seeing people blame others for wanting to spend time with their loved ones this holiday. Like shit, it's not my fault the fucking malls are opened and packed and no one's wearing masks. I'm not gonna fuckin miss out on Christmas because of it.

The profits of the giant retail chain I work for sure aren't, but I have to do that to avoid getting evicted so it doesn't really matter.

Yeah I suppose if you're already working a job like that that puts you at constant risk of exposure there's not much you can do to make that worse tbh

I mean yeah. I honestly think the people complaining about it the most are people who get to work from home this whole time. If you're a working class person, this year has already taken so much from you that there's no way you're letting it take the holidays too.

Like it reminds me of when extremely liberal people from like California or something say not to hang out with conservative family members, because like how much do you think they value you that your actions is what will get them to change their ways and it shows just how insulated they are from the rest of the world that this isn't a problem they actually have to deal with.

the beauty of that is it's just liberals making other liberals feel bad and ruin their holiday, while everyone else outside that bubble ignores it
