It's telling how little love Beto O'Rourke gets in this community. Typical of leftists to abandon the cause to go to brunch while real warriors like Beto rise to the occasion, hop up on the table of social conflict and push the Democrats left.

Beto got high on his own product and thought he was the hottest shit. That vanity run for President was possibly the worst decision of any politician in the last two years.

Dude came within two percent of knocking off Ted Cruz, a feat that only looks more impressive given Democrats shitting themselves in Texas in 2020. And proceeded to brag about grabbing people's ARs (squandering any chance of winning a race in Texas in the future) and joined the pre-Super Tuesday Biden coup (squandering any goodwill with the left). Guy entered 2019 with everything and ended up with nothing; a true waste of potential that Elizabeth Warren could only dream of.

Wtf even was that with the gun grabbing comment?

These are the same people telling the left we need to abandon labor to appeal to Republicans :curious-marx:

I think that was Beto's way of self-sabotaging, whether intentionally or not

Beto is a bourgeoisie corporate sellout. But he understands the political dynamics of south Texas. 10/10 would take a class with him as professor, provided he stood on a table while lecturing

yeah, as much as he sucks now, I think he was actually cool at one point, decades ago. Not many of those in politics. Strange.

if you didn't write this while standing on a table or countertop, were you really even acknowledging him?
