I can't believe I fell for his 'eccentric but genuine' persona after that streak in 2014 where he consistently showed how entitled and self-righteous he was.

Fucking hell, that's awful. I hate that you really have to have a "guilty until proven innocent" sort of view of hollywood actors. Like, are there any that are actually, genuinely not awful?

I regularly see politigram posts about how “actors are actually workers because they have bosses” and it makes me fucking crazy because any actor who is a household name has accumulated so much wealth that they are completely blinded by class interests. Many actors are workers, but Shia LeBouf is bourgeois swine

John Cusack, Tim Robbins, Drea De Matteo, Emily Ratajkowski all seem like OK celebs.

I'm sure there are plenty of smaller actors that are just normal people, but anyone really famous has the deck stacked against them in that regard: they're immensely wealthy individuals who have managed to thrive in an extremely toxic, alienating, cutthroat business where they swing wildly between being unemployed and working on high-stress projects. Good people can't stomach the bullshit that goes along with that, and people who are just ok to start with end up becoming shitty from the wealth, alienation, and/or stress, while bad people just become worse and more toxic.

Money sways courts, so if you're poor you are innocent until proven guilty for me, but the more power the more i'm leaning towards guilty.
