      Someone tried to own me with a CNN article that was headlined "China Lied about their Coronavirus Numbers" but when you read the article, it turns out that they actually over reported in places because they attributed all flu deaths to Corona before the tests.

        Yeah that article or another CNN one was making the rounds and the headline doesn't match the contents and all the people they talked to in the article were from western institutions.

          My favorite one was the "China banned the letter 'N'" one that just cited a reactionary Upenn professor's blog who cited Fox News lol.

          They don't even check the sources they link my god. They know 90% of people will just slurp up the headline and not even do the work of clicking A SINGLE HYPERLINK to verify the story.

          Also, if you check his Twitter source for the letter N thing, the explanation in the comments cites his blog post lol

          They're so bad... they literally cite random ass twitter accounts.
