        Online sectarianism reeks of the person being a child who has internalized their chosen leftist tendency as an extension of their identity like it’s their fucking hogwarts house or starter pokemon.

        this is exactly it. we cultivate identities around different leftist aesthetics and then are surprised when little actual praxis gets done. even where there aren't corporations pushing branding on us, we invent the same stupid bullshit. we should argue about theory but if you can't put that away to work with people who mostly agree with you, I'm sorry but liberalism is still eating your mind.

        you don't need to agree with someone 100% to work with them and you don't even need to like them. this is a project to build political power, not to validate you on how right and smart you are. and if this is just about arguing with people online to you... ugh, put up and do the damn work or stfu and go away.

      These people are literally no different than the 4chan fascists in archetype, they just have a better ideology they're being edgy about.

      Alienated young people get into all sorts of shit just to feel as if they're special in this world and it's clear that's what the above is. It's kinda why it bothers me when people shit on DSA and what not because they're at least doing something in the areas they operate and they say, actively damaging other left orgs at the current moment.
