    I totally see where she could have been coming from. Could be that she's had so many men make similar sexual comments to her that she has come to expect it. Like the bully who punches you in the arm every day at lunch until you start to flinch whenever you see him.

          He relayed a story about how the cops had treated his opiate-addicted daughter with compassion rather than criminality and helped her seek care, cuz you know, there's grey in the world. When you think of the world in black and white, then sure, her actions were "justified".
