According to South Korean law, it is illegal for a Korean citizen to smoke weed literally anywhere in the world. Even outside of Korea, in a place where it is legal. Still illegal. And most koreans seem to think that weed is like some kind of hyper dangerous drug that can kill you and or make you a freak.
Supposedly the us govt pushed them to make weed illegal cause they didnt want us occupying troops to smoke lol

I've heard that in past centuries (like prior to the 20th century) Koreans believed that weed had medicinal properties and they used it as part of their traditional medicine.
It makes you feel alot better real fast so it makes sense.
