hot take: nature cops are necessary to stop shitbags fucking up the wildlife
Yea I kinda view those guys in the same realm as security guards/bouncers, pretty much there to kick out the annoying/disruptive people
Yes - I highly recommend people attend/listen to court proceedings involving fish and game violations. Some violators are people ignorant of license requirements (who generally just eat the fine), but others are unrepentant shitbag poachers who would (and do) absolutely fuck up nature if given a chance.
NPS officers were still used to crush Standing Rock so they can still be used as any other federal pig, but I'd also become a national park ranger tomorrow because it's protecting public property and wildlife, conserving some of the most stunning ecosystems in the country, and you get to hunt poachers like feral hogs. Every cop deserves a fire extinguisher but if you fuck with wildlife someone should fuck with you.
Thin green line is kinda cringe if it's not the same realm as thin baja blast line or thin pizza crust line
Honestly wanna make a "Thin Breadstick Line" flag or something and fly it around to piss of chuds.
I am okay with cops of any kind protecting public property. Like actually protecting it. Cops exist in modern society to protect private property and that's why they're bad. They don't serve the public, they serve the private
Yes, definitely this. It's only public property if the property is truly public.
Cops are bad not because they are cops, but because they work for the ruling class against the workers.
Nature cops work for all of us.
I can see a thin green line flag being an attempt at a hilarious bit that didn't land, or an earnest attempt to steal valor. (Which is also funny, but in a different way.) What does your sister say about it?
like i am pro conservation officers being from brazil and knowing that every time you don't do actual nature fiscalization and protection people will go and burn the shit out of the amazon and stuff
Like a game warden? Maybe the least bad cops, but cops never the less.
Unfortunately it'll probably be neccessary as long as people hold on to irrational beliefs that lead them to pay obscene sums of money to consume random body parts of endangered species in order to prevent their dicks from retracting into their bodies and disappearing or to stop their cum from turing toxic and poisoning them.
But lets talk about conversation officers! Excuse me, Conversation Officer? I'd like to have an argument, please!
Arent these the guys in charge of preventing corporations from dumping toxic waste in local water supply? Maybe I’m thinking of the coast guard or something but if that’s their job, they don’t seem to care a lot about it
