minus-squareLangdonAlger [any]hexbear2·4 years agowhen i was a kid, grocery store unions had mandatory dues and the store only paid minimum wage to courtesy clerks. maybe it was better for the higher ups, but yeah, good way to instill anti-union sentiment in the minds of impressionable youths. link
If your union isn't getting you more value in terms of higher wages and/or additional benefits than the dues you pay, something's gone horribly wrong.
