In your defense, she’s often wanted some anonymity and it’s very possible there are songs she’s produced that you like that she’s chosen not to put her name on explicitly. I found out way later that Hot Pink by Lets Eat Grandma and Yeah Right by Vince Staples were both produced by her
That makes this worst for me. An entire treasure trove of work and I didnt even know.
Also she was my age.
I saw her perform at a festival once and I was fucking floored at how cool her set was. It was eerie, beautiful and really really loud. This is so upsetting, RIP SOPHIE

Fucking Christ. She was a visionary and one of the best performers I've ever seen. What a tragedy.
I admit this is the first time I'm hearing of her, guess that's what being checked out of music for a few years does to you, but it seems like she meant a lot to many of the people here, and that's enough to mean a lot to me. Rest in power to a real one :trans-hammer-sickle:
