Not what I'm saying. You can be intentionally obtuse somewhere else.

yes and thats what content warnings are for, so that people suffering from suicidal ideation can avoid such topics.

that is not a reason to suddenly demand everyone stop wanting terfs and nazis to die and directly telling them to do so

i have not in anyway been reckless about this, and i resent being told that i am

if the original point being made had been "please put a content warning on this for people that might be triggered by suicidal ideation while sharing this content with comrades" i would not disagree with that point at all.

that is not what was being said.

what was being said was "you cant just tell terfs to go die!" to which i say, fucking watch me.

That's a pretty shitty thing to tell someone even in this context

There's a difference between saying that and telling them to "have fun" doing it. They aren't trying to harm non-TERFs and implying otherwise is kinda cruel.
Obviously they aren't really listening to what you're saying, but that's just the nature of arguing on the internet sometimes.

you absolutely are deliberately misrepresenting what i was doing, and claiming i was doing a thing i was not doing, but whatever.

i guess im just a bad ally to me for wanting a space where we dont have to apologize for the terror and shit.

                          again, fuck you very much

"if the comment was to, 'please content warning,' i would agree. but the comment is that you cannot be violent against terfs, which i dont agree with"

"lolol u r bad ally to trans people because you want to do a violence which could trigger trans people!"

do you see how maybe me being hostile is a reasonable reaction?

oh fuck right the fuck off.

im not the one sharing this shit or posting it in barely related threads without content warning while concern trolling about people being triggered ergo we cant say mean things to terfs

yes i am aware of that, and content warnings exist for a reason.

if those were able to be used properly, we wouldnt have a bystander being affected by this, because they could avoid the content.

content which was linked above without warning, to a post with no warning on it.

i havent disregarded anyones feelings here other than people who express an overt concern for the feelings of terfs

every effort should be made to make people feel comfortable browsing the site, which means content warnings, i agree.

but unless yall are gonna ban content outright to the point where people literally cannot discuss these subjects at all, terfs suicide abuse etc, there will always be people that are accidentally triggered by things that are on the site. because reality isnt perfect, and shit will always happen.

so, i mean, either this space is designed for frank discussion of those topics with likeminded people whom are sympathetic ears, with every effort made to make content warnings as robust and viable as possible, or those topics are banned from discussion entirely because content warnings are insufficient to prevent anyone being triggered ever.

im not pretending you have concern for the emotions of terfs, im saying that the original point veing made re: "dont say mean things to terfs!" seemed that way.

i would also appreciate not being told im a bad ally to myself for wanting to be able to talk about violent impulses towards terfs, thanks

                  im not missing that point.

content warnings exist for a reason, and it sure would be nice if we could use them, but whatever idgaf at this point.
