    Don't be frustrated if you pee dirty for a while after, THC can be stored in the body fat for extended periods in regular smokers.

      To pass a cannabis drug test as fast as possible:

      Glucoronolactone and plenty of water starting today, every day until the third day before your test. Then stop supplementing glucoronolactone. On the third day before your test, start supplementing Creatine monohydrate, a b vitamin complex and lots of water for 2-3 days before a test

      Glucoronides are what bond to various compounds (including THC-COOH, the metabolite of THC which is assayed in typical urine testing) to remove them from the body. Chemically speaking, they change the solubility of a fat-soluble mostly-nonpolar molecule like THC-COOH, and turn it into a conjugate of glucoronide which is water-soluble enough to be pissed out of your body. Supplementing with glucoronolactone is helpful to help your body lower its stores of THC-COOH, right up until the third day before your test. You stop taking this three days before your test, to reduce your excretion of remaining THC-COOH at the time of the test.

      Water flushes stuff out of your system, but also dilutes the concentration of THC-COOH in your urine. Creatine will metabolize into creatinine, which is measured in your sample to test if you've been trying to water-flush your system; you fail if it's too low. Creatine supplementation also beefs up the specific gravity of your urine too, which is another way they catch people who have been water-flushing their system. B vitamins (which you need anyway for your health) will make your pee appear yellow despite water flushing, it's an automatic fail if it doesn't appear yellow enough. The only other metrics on common urine tests that they check, are temperature and pH, which will come out just fine.

      If you have the option, take the standar 50 nanogram cutoff test, not the more sensitive/difficult 20 nanogram test. I know you probably won't have the opportunity to pick, but if you are forced to take the 20 nanogram, try to get out of the appointment and reschedule if you can; it will take your body significantly longer to get to "clean" at the 20 nanogram level, so you're much more likely to fail.

      source: took drug tests for court every week for months, kept smoking a lot of that time, never got caught. Also, am in my spare time developing a test-defeating micellular chemical which in the future, i will sell to people to simply drop in their piss cup and pass even if the urine is hot. so, i've done a fair amount of research, both practical as well as reviewing the literature. There's a lot of inaccuracies in the scientific literature behind drug testing as an industry, which has been used to oversell the efficacy of the tests and make the labs think they are undefeatable. They're not, not really.

      Post script: check out the herb "wild dagga", it's a nicotine relative that produces a short-lived cannabis-like high but doesn't make you pop for a drug test. Useful for cravings, to an extent.

    Same comrade, although a little longer than a week. Withdrawal is definitely a pain in the ass for me, mood stuff, anhedonia, but especially the insomnia.

    If you’re able to do so, exercise really helps with those symptoms.

    Also, like easier said than done, but as you are conceptualizing the process, don’t give it so much power over you. It’s a temporary state of withdrawal, and you will feel basically normal once you are through that process, if you allow yourself to go through the process. It’s not an all-encompassing state of bad times that will last indefinitely until you smoke weed again.

    Weed, for me, is fine/harmless most of the time, but in those periods of life where there needs to be change or adaptation, I’ve noticed it can definitely be a crutch against taking the necessary steps to adapt.

        there may be worse things in life, but you are being forced to go without your medication because of capital & the state, as well as cultural hegemony.

        don't trivialize what you're going through. it is terrible, and in a more just society, would not be asked of you.

    Good luck. Quitting coffee did great things for alleviating my anxiety. Lately I've been making iced pomegranate green tea and keeping a pitcher in the fridge. Very easy and healthier than soda or beer.

    I’m on my first day sober. Trying to only drink on the weekends or if we eat out. I smoke everyday and try to be stoned from anxiety, depression, and pain that stems from the army.

    I keep my shitty grocery stocker job so I can pay bills, get weed if I can afford it, and do school at a community college nearby. Fucking sucks and I hate being sober

        I’m constantly going back and forth from being sober and drinking hard. I see myself becoming aware during my binges, and I feel like garbage during the comedown. I can’t quit cold turkey, so I’m limiting myself to weekend like I said.

        And thanks comrade. I’m not taking classes this semester. Doing just online classes does not help me learn or retain. So I’m just working and listening to podcasts, theory, and shit at work all night. It’s all a struggle. If you need anything my dms are always open.
