That was his appeal and it almost worked in 2017. A genuine socialist (who believes in common ownership) and an internationalist got 40% of the vote in a wealthy, imperialist and racist country in the 21st century.
Yeah it sucks to think about but even if Corbyn had won, the entire British establishment would have crashed the country with no survivors in order to make his Government look evil/incompetent
