Holy crap, I did this once when I was trail running. I was probably about 2-3 miles into the woods and I rolled my ankle really badly, it was a barely used trail and getting late and I knew there was basically zero chance of someone finding me by accident before sundown. Thankfully after about 15 minutes I was able to put some weight on it and hobble out, but it was terrifying thinking about how I was going to crawl along a very rocky trail for 2+ miles.
Truly a hellworld that we live in where that can happen to someone in the middle of a city.

Cue paranoid me texting every 10 mins when a friend tells me they're going for a jog or a bike ride.
It really is horrifying to think about. I can imagine the whole scene, even though I'm trying not to.
