so hyped for the future of the game. kinda liked sunsetting, but i'm fine with just having the clean slate it brought instead. also, transmog being available for whites, greens, and blues? might actually pay for microtransactions for once

I tried it when it became free and nothing made sense. Nothing about the game or how it works was explained. I just wanted to play through the campaign. Then I heard they removed the campaigns and I lost all interest.

    kinda liked sunsetting

"We're going to fix the run away balance problem with the game by practically just deleting the problem items, instead of doing the sensible thing of actually balancing the problem items"

All because they just couldn't figure out how to balance the Recluse and Mountaintop, even though that quite frankly the obvious change would be making them exotics so you can only pick one to use.

I dropped Destiny when the very first DLC barred off raiding unless you bought it.

I’m glad the franchise looks like it’s in a much better place after reading the dev update, but I’m still bitter about that shit.

used to play but the new season cycle really made it suck imo, doing the same activity over and over again just wasn't fun

i kept going back to destiny, never stuck.

the only fun activity i’ve ever had with a group was Vault of Glass. coop and crucible werent that fun, cause to have an advantage, you needed to find rare weapons with good perks (back when they were random), which meant you had to be playing, but lots of drops were trash, so it deincentivized playing for loot, and thats all you had cause the story was a waste of impressive world building. and everything was a decorated hallway.

grinding currencies for the exotic weapons npc was a chore, i didnt like playing to a schedule. “oh it’s xursday, gotta log in if i dont wanna miss anything”. half of the interesting npcs were time gated, and werent more interesting when they got their own content.

i never found a loop that worked for me. except sparrow jousting and player stacks at the tower. but none of those are official AFAIK
