nervously laughs while stabbing a straw in blood pack and drinking it like a Capri Sun mmm my own blood that is mine and belongs to me and is not from other people haha.

(Yes it's a Sun article but it's still funny)

I don't know what's confusing about this. There are millions of dollars being spent on a group of medical professionals to follow around The Queen, the literal embodiment of what liberal capitalism was supposed to overthrow, and give her sippies of "her own" blood because dying might crash the tourism economy of a major nation. And all this is happening during a global pandemic from which people are dying due to lack of healthcare, and that's just the comfortable middle class people dying I've yet to mention all the poor people who die from lack of healthcare even when there's not a pandemic, but especially now more than anyone else.

I don't know why that's confusing or weird. This is the most efficient way to do things.

Tourism monies has little to do with why the monarchy persists, more people would visit Buckingham Palace and whatnot if they were unoccupied and completely accessible (look at Versailles).

I agree with Philosophy Tube's video on the topic in that the real reason why the monarchy still exists is because every Brit wants to fuck the Queen.

the property relations are bourgeois dominated, she's just a spectacle figurehead with a sword.
