I have no hope for this world, I’m so scared for its future. Like literally NOTHING has been done for climate change which will only continue to accelerate and will start accelerating at a pace not seen before as all the trapped methane in permafrost is released. Couple that with diseases not seen in modern time being thawed it’s going to be a blood bath. I’m so ducking blackpilled that it’s fucking 2021 and my relatives thoughts on climate change are “oh we’ll figure out some science thing that will solve everything” FUCK YOU you’ll be fucking dead before the worst is to come, fuck you, you didn’t even thing this shit was real as recently as five years ago. Fuck you. Fuck America. Fuck everything. The earth is burning and the people who deserve to suffer are seeing none of the effects, as usual it’s the most vulnerable who are most fucked over by the fucking capitalist class literally selling out our future for a fucking few extra bucks. What’s the fucking point of anything anymore. I don’t think the world as we know it will exist 10 years from now, hell it won’t exist as we know it 5 years from now. I have extreme existential dread about climate change because the fucking earth only continues to warm and the rate of warming continues increasing and it fucking feels like there’s a climate apocalypse looming in the near fucking future and all I can think about how I would react is eating a bullet or some other cowardly way out.
