now I'm wondering whether or not an american president or even representative has ever given such a speech. we have Crenshaw's action movie campaign ads, Trump's shitposts and Obama's quarter Christian idealism, but have we ever had someone defend America's history with archived documents to back it up?

this is the last time I remember an American official talking about US history. And also Kamala last week talking about how the poverty in Guatamala is the cause of the mass migration while (I hope) pretending to be completly ignorant about America's past interventions in the country.

          we are a moral catastrophe.

Redditors think they're being so subversive when they say 'fuck Putin' it's like when children learn how to swear

Redditors are so impotent and unoriginal with their anger. It basically boils down to "fuck ____"

      'fuck Putin'

      'fuck Trump'

      'fuck cancer'

'fuck the CCP' (when they're barely mask-on at least)

Strangely enough, you don't see too much, 'fuck fascism' or 'fuck Nazis' in comparison.

saw a guy unironically claiming that reddit mods personally go through anti-see-see-pee posters' history and ban them for previous racism. And I mean, yeah, that's probably good if true, these fuckers aren't very good at hiding that they're nazis.

we're still in every european country that we entered at the same time as the soviet union at the end of ww2. why are we occupying every EU state, and most African states, and many middle Eastern States, and half of Asia?(I know why, but it bothers me how there is no good reason that follows what they say, but they still support it.)

I don't think you can convince a lib that America occupies Europe or Japan the way they think the USSR occupied the Warsaw Pact states. South Korea is especially blatant.

yeah it's like Europe and Japan both have enormous military bases too, they're just not right in the middle of capitals like they are in Seoul

Add to that the fact that American embassies are insanely militarized compared to other embassies. They know they are an occupying force.

      cough west Germany cough.

The French part of west Germany literally had police who had worked for Vichy France. And judges who had been judges under the Nazi's.

It's the lol psyche of defeating fascism

At big lots today I was speaking Russian with my father and the boomer age lady in front of us in line asked "are you speaking Russian?" And I said yeah. Her husband (I assume) asked "You're Russian? I hate Putin!" to which I responded "uh, so do I?". Very confused, idk if that was his idea of a joke or if he was genuinely trying to trigger the libs or something

I think it was just boomer brain in action. He just got shortwired and blurted out the first (possibly only) thing in his mind that connected to the word "Russia".

such an american exceptionalism ass move too. Like even if terk wouldn't have been not a fan its still a ridiculous presumptuous and disrespectful thing for the second thing you ever say to a person to be some dumb shit about their country's politics. Like be a fucking human and act normal.

Ending the holocaust seemed a little better than perpetrating it.

Edit: It would also be nice if liberals would stop erasing Jewish history. Much of the holocaust happened in the territory of the Soviet Union and was a violent climax following hundreds of years of anti-Semitic violence. Why am I supposed to be offended that Stalin was willing to deal with these perpetrators both before and after WW2? Were Jews just supposed to keep dying because fighting back would be messy?

It's kind of split, actually. The more "ideologically consistent" chuds in Russia stan the Whites and monarchy while other stan the USSR because it actually got shit done and is/was a source of Russian national pride. I have a cousin in Russia who's the latter isn't a total white supremacist who I've been trying to turn into an actual commie.
