Yeah, preferably communities for most/all the regions, like the the_internationale channels on the discord.
This would be really cool. I was fascinated by the fact that so many different regional channels were active on the discord, and these discussions are something I would like to see carried over.
It is really nice to have a channel for, in my case, european topics, as the subreddit was really america focussed. And the europe channel is the best place to discuss european topics i've had the pleasure to visit so far, so i'd be great to have it as a community.
This is a good idea. Although it would further the American hegemony, state/city communities would be good for organizing, local news, electoralism, etc.

I understood what you meant, there should absolutely be communities for places outside the US. I was just expanding on your good idea to also include regional communities within the US because they would be useful.

Ah, okay .. yeah, that honestly sounds like a good idea, especially for organizing it would be great to have the big cities as communities (especially in the us rn, regarding organizing against the police).

Do yall know what requirements you have for mods? I have considered volunteering, but have never been a mod before on any platform. I have a fairly extensive knowledge of firearms, reloading, and am kind of familiar with ATF regulations. We would want to avoid any talk about skirting local and federal firearms regulations, buying, selling, trading anything like that. I think we would be fine (legally) to allow content similar to what r/gundeals allows, but it could turn into a corporate spam-fest. Just some ideas.

is !neurodivergent going to be mostly for things like autism, adhd, etc. ? As much as that is a space I would appreciate I'd also suggest we do also have a mental health community, because most of psychology is really liberal and places so much blame on the individual for their struggles. It'd be nice to connect with other leftists and share coping strategies that don't ignore the damage capitalism does.
Mental health communities are really important, even when all the news and happenings about racism, capitalism and fascism in general bring you down.
Could we have a more general televison/media community? I like anime too but it seems strange we would get an anime board before a television board.
