    C'mon, man! That's the party platform, chosen by the people who were selected as delegates to attend the convention! Truly, this is a shining example of our democracy at work. The people who were selected as delegates to attend the convention have spoken, and they don't want to end fossil fuel subsidies. And as duly elected representives of the people of this great nation who were selected as delegates to attend the convention, it is my and Joe's sacred duty to abide by that consensus.
