I don't know why they stopped giving him the anti-dementia drugs or steroids or whatever the fuck. Maybe he couldn't take the side effects anymore. The level of decline the guy has had since last year has been pretty bad. Someone of Biden's age and faculties should be at home cracking beers, swapping stories about cars and girls from the 60s with friends and family, not trying to run an evil global empire while crushing the hopes and dreams of everyone under 45 and making them thank him for it.

My guess is he's talking about building charging stations for electric cars.

He's saying it's difficult for the same reasons building petrol stations was back in 1920.

Even once you dig past the tired old man ramble that still doesn't cast him in a remotely positive light, under all the dementia he's just a slimy politician and making excuses for not having done the mildly progressive things he said he would, but I think that's what makes the most sense.

We can't bust heads like we used to. But we have our ways. One trick is to tell stories that don't go anywhere. Like the time I caught the ferry to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe. So I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. "Gimme five bees for a quarter," you'd say. Now where were we... oh yeah. The important thing was that I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have any white onions, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

So, he is saying there is a reluctance to install charging stations. Aside from chud resistance, the way to get everyone on board would be paying for the installation, while also improving the electrical infrastructure.

For instance, they could bury more power lines, improve power substations, and build more wind/solar power infrastructure at the same time those are added. But that requires the government to do stuff, and the more stuff the govt does the more socialist it is, and libs don't like that (or helping people).
