in the second movie we'll see him using his prescient powers to leverage his new found Fremen people into curbstomping first the Harkonnen on Arrakis and then the Emperor's Sardaukar when the spice stops flowing
yes, everyone becomes, or is, an asshole in the Dune universe but they have their reasons for it, and that makes it interesting

This is hard to define exactly, feudalism and fascism is similiar in many ways. We don’t really know too much about the inner workings of each house.
In the movies at least they come across as feudal houses with fascist imagery.
