      Still on board with getting rid of the dislike button, it has been used as a tool of hate even when you do consider the corporate reasons why to get rid of it.

          I'm of the opinion that society is in a constant state of improvement, so my beliefs would be that the 90s internet was worse than the 00s internet and that was worse than the 10s internet. The technology to be horrible wasn't really there in the 90s, it just wasn't as easy to post videos or pictures. If 90s internet had access to wifi and smartphones I guarantee you that the largely white and male internet userbase of the 90s would use it as a tool of hate much more than it did in the 00s. I'm speaking of child porn, streamed murders, hate speech platforms, all of that nasty shit would have been worse in the 90s had the technology have been there, and that's because the white culture in the 90s was worse, and that's not to say Black people didn't use the internet back then, but they had much less access to it since it started out from colleges and military and Black people historically had less ties to those institutions.
