Yes. "Full" is when they photoshop Bernie's face onto 1920's right-wing German political comics.

They kind of already did that, there were some very cringe anti-semetic comics going in lib circles during the primaries.

i remember that shirt that was sold at the convention in 16 that had bernie as a very stereotypical covetous jew post with a ridiculously large hook nose, then claiming that anyone who called it out was the actual racist because they interpreted it that way

Weird how the article doesn't mention a single real policy position Biden has moved left on. It's almost like he hasn't actually moved left on fucking anything

"The French have a saying for what is going on in the streets of America’s cities these days:

    “Epater les bourgeois.”

It doesn’t translate well into English, but basically it means “pester the hell out of the respectable citizens.”"

    Bourgeois

    Respectable Citizens

Technically correct, in the worst way possible.

The french have sayings like "Élections, piège à con" and "La lutte continue" and "Mangez les riches."

Now, what these sayings translate to the poor anglo mind we cannot say, but it means something like "vote in elections" and "fuck your union; lay down and rot" and "respect your boss and always give your landlord a tip."

nothing but complete collapse of the party will teach these people anything and they will probably take the wrong lesson from that too

You say "teach" like they're simply unaware of why they're losing, you're taking them at their word when they say they blame Bernie and the left, they don't. They know full well Bernie and the left is popular, they have access to the same polling over Bernie's proposals that we do. Their job is to make Bernie seem unpopular and dangerous so he doesn't gain ground in the party and threaten the power dynamics they all currently benefit from.

I think Nancy Pelosi wouldn't mind losing at all, her job in the party is just to secure big dollar fundraising, and losing in 2020 helps that mission by keeping a clear danger to democracy in power, thus scaring more people into donating more, but I think most of the non-psychopath Democrats and their voters would prefer to win and suffer through a disappointing Biden presidency where we all get to bully Democrats for the next 4 years without Trump to blame.

Loving this “Bernie is actually controlling the Democratic Party from the shadows and forcing Biden to adopt a far-left agenda” narrative.

It’s almost like they were going to screech about communism regardless of who the candidate was.

They already built that narrative and they're using it. They're claiming the riots and covid are Joe Biden's America despite Joe Biden being locked in his basement for almost all of it.

Never expect the GOP to do anything other than the most grotesque lying and gaslighting and genociding, it's an entirely evil organization, top to bottom.

After reading it I'm convinced Biden will win. This is Trump's campaign manager?! He thinks Sanders has somehow pulled Biden to the left?! JFC, if the people leading Trump's campaign are that braindead to actually think Biden isn't moving to the center and freezing out the left, then they really have no clue what they're doing.

(or maybe they're just trying to put a message out there that they don't even believe themselves)

    • Awoo [she/her]

This isn't intended to be truthful. It's strategic rhetoric intended to push Biden into moving further right. Their goal is to move Democrats right so they too can move right.

I think the short term goal is to just push the nominee more to the right so that he'll be competing with the republican on their own terf. And if people have a choice between the real deal conservative vs the bland centrist friendly one, they'll choose the actual conservative--the republican. And by pushing Biden to the right they help themselves by making Biden even more disgusting to leftist voters than they'll stay home.

It’s not meant to be “good faith” it’s meant to cause suburbanites to circle the wagons and vote conservative. They are using the fact that NO ONE knows what Biden’s policies are other then “Trump bad”.

The Trump campaign has been pumping money into suburbs to show they “care” compared to Biden not doing the same.

By pushing the “Biden is moving left” narrative it makes those subarbanites who felt like they were left behind by Obama Have flashbacks to that.

Here we go, they're already seeding the ground to blame the left for Biden losing, a candidate who has literally nothing to do with the left.

Imagine blaming Vegans when a former owner of a slaughterhouse runs for mayor and loses.
