"This is not how we do things in this country."

Uhh, clearly it is. Did you not see the part where this happened in this country?

the cleanups are part of a broader outreach program by the city, nonprofits and other partners to lift up those stuck in persistent poverty.

This is some real sicko shit.

Yeah I really hate the rhetoric that the activist s were preventing progress for these homeless people. It's not like they would be there with rifles to prevent you from talking to homeless people and telling them about a housing first project that would ensure they all received apartments.

I mean I hate to :19::84: but damn, "You're harming these people egregiously by making sure their homes and possessions aren't destroyed. Our project to take all their possessions from them is actually in their best interests" is pretty nuts

"Lift up," if these cryptofascists get their way, will involve smoke rising into the air from the ovens. I am not joking.

No, I'm with you. I fully expect them to formalize a process of enslaving homeless people any day now. I mean they already are, with those "Felony camping" laws.

Just the other day, Trump was literally talking about setting up concentration camps (though he called them "tent cities") outside major cities for homeless people.

Why are you mad at me? I'm throwing away all your possessions that you need to survive in order to help you!
