"Mr. Yang - what is the Forward Party's point of view on hexagons?"

"The Forward Party’s common sense consensus majority view is very clear on just about every issue under the sun. Therefore hexagons are bad if they divide the country but positive if they unite the country. The Forward Party's forward motion will propel the country forward. See? It's simple..."

I put a CNN clip of him speaking to Acosta in a top level comment. The first sentence of that word salad I seeming created as a parody is actually a nearly verbatim of what he said in the clip. I only removed some words for the sake of clarity. The fact that anybody takes Yang seriously is insane. He's like a guy in his backyard having an verbal argument with a bunch of crows. He knows he's winning the argument and the crows don't have a leg to stand on.

Squares are made of 2 triangles, Hexagons are made of 4 triangles, so Hexagons are better.

This would be good for the left if he actually wants socialists, liberals and conservatives to be a 3 way fight.

I would like him to explicitly name what he sees as the three camps in the new dynamic he wants to create, as the above is a good direction but what he's suggesting just sounds like a new method of saying "third way".

The three camps are fascism, fascism with a human face, and fascism with centrist characteristics.

His third way is just Elon Musk neoliberalism. How is it different than Democrats? They stop pretending to care about minorities and oppression.

So all the amazing fiscal policies of democrats, with all of the outstanding social positions of republicans!

I think a lot of the Democrats might be harebrained enough to think Yang will actually split the Republican base

I'm 100% certain libertarian outlets like reason.com are anti-abortion is because they are chomping at the bit for the GOP to go old school biblical and make the age of consent for marriage to be something like 8 years old. And the libertarians smack their lips at that because if an 8 year old girl can get married - some of their most horrific libertarian dreams can start to come true.

Reason's opinion articles on abortion are piles of ridiculous and wholly unreadable nonsense because they want the GOP Christofascism to win so they can get what they want. But they don't want to seem that way. An example where text is a bunch of stats mashed together to show... I dunno... the issue is "nuanced".

Public Opinion About Abortion Is Complex and Sometimes Confused

The plurality apparently includes many people who lean toward the latter position. Although only 19 percent of respondents said abortion should be "illegal in all circumstances," 47 percent described themselves as "pro-life."

Reading it in context is even more confusing.

In the comments somebody pointed out another movement that liked triangles...

    American Identity Movement

Identity Evropa, rebranded as American Identity Movement in March 2019, was an American neo-Nazi and white supremacist extremist organization established in March 2016.

If you feel like wasting ~90 seconds of your time you can hear Yang squawk like a parrot in the following tweet. The Forward Party's "common sense consensus majority view" is "very clear on just about every issue under the sun". And it's very clear because the Forward Party's common sense consensus majority view is that idiotic centrism is the path forward because it's idiotic centrism. FORWARD!

Acosta did such a great job of calling out Andrew Yang for his BS tonight!

finally a party for normal, everyday people who believe liberals are too Marxist and conservatives are too embarrassing to associate with at the country club
