If you're a pretty thief, you're not a Karen. Holy shit, chuds have ruined this word.

or rather petty thievery isn't doing a Karen. i'm sure some portion of those bored racist housewives who shoplift would also call the pigs if a black person was existing normally in her presence.

huh? i'm saying some Karens are probably also probably petty thieves, not making pronouncements about the alleged thieves in those videos.

It just became a catch-all insult against women rather than specifically white suburbanites who call the cops on black people.

I use it for anyone who goes into a customer service situation with a "holier than thou I'm entitled to the world and you are dirt" attitude

Is this honestly a thing that people have to seriously worry about on a day-to-day basis (random people stealing packages, not being accosted by :frothingfash: with guns)? Is this just some insane suburban neighbor feud or some bullshit? Like what is going on here?

In the rich suburbs where people have fantasies about confronting the thieves, no not really. But i lived somewhere were i had packages stolen a couple times. Just had to hope it would be there by the time i got back home.

I imagine the people in the suburbs are the ones with these door cameras, so all the videos shared around makes them imagine its happening to people like them.

Maybe. It's also possible that the footage was taken from actual bad and poor neighborhoods where theft actually tends to matter, and the rich boomers living in the gated McMayoville neighborhood in Florida came across it and became paranoid

Should we tell them there are some problems that can't be solved by punching holes in a person?

The whole Karen thing has never sat well with me, even when the term is used "correctly".

i hate these "anti package thieves" so much, for Amazon and most e-commerce sites you can get a refund or replacement if you report the package as stolen.
