Agreed, the higher ups at private insurance companies are soulless nightmare people. The doctors and pharmacists who work there are even worse in a way, arrogant and detached. Biased bc I'm in tech but I think only like 80% of tech is on that level. Torment nexus builders, defense contractors, adtech, fintech, and anything involving the blockchain are filed under "decidedly evil"

Security guards at grocery stores. They exist to take food from the hands of the hungry and imprison them for being desperate enough to steal baby formula.
Honestly the security guards at the grocery stores I've been at have mostly seemed like just people doing the absolute minimal to watch the front of the store and monitor and deescalate for any actual violence or harassment (unfortunately usually from homeless and other very hard done by people with mental illnesses). My experience was that loss prevention who watched the security cameras from their offices and stalked and chased after people were the real villains. I guess these roles may overlap depending on the store though.
Marketing, especially the managers. They're all shits, and if they've been around long enough, they've definitely been involved with weird, exploitative, and spammy shit.
