It's the antennas. This is essentially a directional radio jammer - it disrupts communication between the operator and the drone, as well as jamming GPS / Glonass / etc.
It would be ineffective against a purely independent drone (one that isn't controlled by radio); especially one that'd rely on inertial or visual cues for navigation instead of GPS.
I think it looks really fucking cool, like some shit you’d see in a 90s sci-if movie hell yeah.
Necessary in a world where Maduro was nearly assassinated by drones.
