    Daily reminder that "landlord" is a misnomer for China's borderline slaveowning class and Mao would not have killed your landlady who rents out her dead parents' house.

      Also reminder that Mao himself didn't kill the landlords but removed all legal protections to them instead, like in that movie, so the peasants could do the revolution themselves and in that way become 'commited' to the New China.
