Also, why the fuck are some "leftists" picking the US over China. America is a fascist police state that's compromised its democratic appearances whilst desperately clinging to its empire, pushing the world to nuclear annihilation. Conversely, we know little about China outside of propaganda.

Same is true for the Fallout universe too :diaz-canel-troll:

Who tf sides with the US goverment/enclave? I wish we could see more Chinese and Soviet factions in Fallout, but i doubt.

In the Fallout universe, the USSR did not dissolve in 1991, and continued to exist well into the 21st century. The Soviet Union had a consular service and a foreign service, and had strong consular relations with the United States.

I hate the last choice because it’s hamstringed by poor writing.

Why do we have to destroy the Institute and the silicon gold mine they’re standing on rather than just defeat it and utilize the tech and scientific base for ourselves?

Also, why the fuck are some “leftists” picking the US over China.

it's literally twitter, a website for imperial core liberals to say their shitty opinions without citing sources and then block anyone who disagrees with them

this template sucks if you aren't using it for really spicy shit.

Axis-Allies in WW2? what conversation is there to have? fascist or every liberal and left ideology

Enclave in Fallout? fascist or lib again? Caesar's Legion is a little interesting with third choice but still done to death. "Commonwealth" is kinda fun because bethesda so poorly fleshes out the politics theres room to argue but its not binary

but Real shitslinging candidates for this would be like : China v. Vietnam 1979, Paris Commune v. National Convention 1794, Angolan civil war, Spanish Civil War but POUM v PCE v FAI(fash excluded),

Nah, it’s been great for exposing the hypocrisy of some.

The amount of people claiming to be on the right side of WWII but also supporting the right wing autocracies like the RVN, ROK, and even fucking Spain under Franco is too damn high.

i mean conflicts that just out idiots & scum aren't very interesting to talk about. someone marks rhodesia thats just "oh they're a racist" end of story

leftist infighting topics and complicated historical events hardly anyone has the expertise to formulate a 'take' on (but won't stop anyone from trying)---now that's entertainment. tell me why backing Cromwell against Ireland is leftist. tell me how shi'ism is stalinist and kharijites are trotskyist. :stalin-feels-good:

i just really wish the Followers were a main faction in at least one or two of these games, b/c they're easily the most based out of all the main groups :gold-anarchist:

I think that's the issue with having them as a main group. They're too obviously Good Guys. I wouldn't wanna spoil that but Fallout is Fallout when your ethical choices can be confusing.

The other issue is that they don't have a real command structure so it's hard to make them a real politically active faction

Mr. House is a :melon-musk:-esque dipshit (albeit with actual intellect to back it up) but he is completely on-point in regards to the Brotherhood. Glorified raiders LARPing as Arthurian techno-knights who the Wasteland could very much do without. They had their uses against the Master and Enclave but that was just a byproduct of saving their own skin.

The time they actually tried to "reform" under Lyons, they simply regressed back once he and his daughter died.

Morons choose the US over China but the one thing we do know about this universe's China is that they literally nuked the world so Neutral is the only acceptable answer

It’s hard to tell who launched them first (which is the point). Regardless, up until the nukes started flying, they were in the right (even without taking into account we're communists lol). They invaded Anchorage but the US was already invading and forcibly vassalizing its neighbors by then.

The last one also makes no sense cus there's no way the BoS would ally with the Railroad or Minutemen since the BoS in Fo4 are human supremacist fascists.
