I've got a question almost completely unrelated to the content of this post. As someone who has never been in a strip club, why are they all lit like this? Is it just because that's how you know it's a strip club and all strip clubs now have to follow the lead of the stereotypical strip club that everyone recognizes? Is there some exploitative psychological thing about it where it makes you forget what fuckin day it is? Is it just intended to make it harder to see the performers and therefore let them seem more "perfect" by your mind filling in details?
I feel like I'd get a headache by glancing into the open door from a safe distance.
In spanish we have a saying. Todos los gatos son pardos de noche
Wich roughly translates as all cats are the same color at nigth. Pardo being a brownish red hard to distinguish color.
So yhea its because it makes it harder to see the preformers.
I've never been to a strip club but people looking better under mood lighting is definitely a thing.
