They removed 14 posts related to the hysterectomy whistleblower yesterday.
Some of these posts had ~15k upvotes, and a lot of users are now calling the mods fash. Love to see it.
The other thing with the ICE Agents is you have to take out their families, when you get these ICE Agents, you have to take out their families. They care about their lives, don't kid yourself. When they say they don't care about their lives, you have to take out their families.
It's actually pretty nuts. The second top comment is the list of are you a facist nation than all the comments are basically fuck the mods fuck reddit and fuck america let's burn this shit down.
Automod removes links to certain books in default sub.
There is a vast conspiracy to censor certain news on reddit.
That is very likely.... especially given the lack of mod pushback in the thread. They want to let people continue to criticize them and even post things like: "The mods are off topic. Let's get them removed."
As a rule mod drama is the result of mods being unpaid internet nerds .
But badly suppressing a story to intentionally shift the narrative to the botched cover-up would be nice strat.
i doubt mods on major subs like these arent being paid to push agendas
I mean at the very least their real-world job is probably just an indirect way to pay them for this ie they work at a think-tank or something.
What do they gain by keeping this off their site? I don't get the end game.
It seems like its because the story isn't a clear "Trump bad" thing. The mods pointed out it was done by an ICE "contractor" and not a direct policy of the Trump administration. Aka they don't want the story to blow up because it makes people realize that this country's institutions are bad and that isn't just because of Trump. r/politics otherwise is basically just "Trump administration bad, government agencies ok." r/politics is meant to be a place to trap liberals into the facade of American politics and slow their realization of the evil of this country.
Maybe if we repainted it in bodies and spaces lingo they'd jump on it.
Seriously though, that's fucking stupid. I think you're probably right, but in what world is the person knowingly cutting the checks not at all responsible for the villainy their money buys? I imagine (hope??) the argument is in complete bad faith and these people's moral compasses aren't ACTUALLY this out of whack, but god only knows.
jesus christ after not going there for a while their fucking design is murder on my eyes.
old.reddit.com is your friend if you want to go to that shit site at all.
Does anyone have some other examples of /r/poltics mods censoring other true stories?
I also got banned a while back for arguing with the mods about removing all posts about strikes when they were calling them "political but not politics" whatever the fuck that means.

tell them to post here? or is that gonna ruin the site.
As I scrolled through the thread I saw at least one chapo.chat plug which was kind of solicited (is there anywhere else I can post, this is BS) so it was in good taste.
The only thing the lib brain will take out of this is "there are dRumpf supporters in the mod team!!!!1!!1 ¿What? Close the ICEkamps? No, no, they broke the law, they should be there, but be treated better"
I like pointing out to people that these particular "crimes" are actually misdemeanors, and so the punishment is unjust from even the most legalistic perspective. Watching mental gymnastics from the front row is fun.
Peak radicalization hours... if nothing else.
A lot of squishy starry-eyed libs are getting crushing lessons in the history of American eugenics.
