Is he going to get Liz Warren to do her "reading out the names of all the murdered trans people" thing, while not actually doing anything to stop trans people from getting murdered?

Oh wait, he's not even going to do that?

I wish Joe Brandon and his entire family a very die in a fire.

It's a real "a vote for Bart is a vote for anarchy" type statement in the current moment.

The shape of our trans is the trans that shapes all the other issues :brandon:

Target more easily how? Do you think Biden means he’s going to send helicopters to shine spotlights on all trans people?

Nah I was just being facetious. I'm mostly expecting empty gestures while Republicans pass more Anti-Trans bills.

        Good bit idea though.

Much as I agree Biden's statement is moronic, this is very 'all lives matter'. Brandon isn't denying what you say.

        No it isn't.

Edit: To elaborate actually, I have no patience for this because I think Brandons statement is worse than useless platitudes.

If the message of the right wing is "Transgenders have infiltrated all levels of society including where our children are, and are corrupting the very soul of the nation", Biden saying "Transgender Americans are an important part of all levels of society, including helping raise the next generation of Americans, they shape the very soul of our nation" etc. Then thats basically a unified message.

One side gets their message bolstered and the other side just gets a muddled piled of platitudes that get used for every oppressed and scapegoated minority, madlibs style. At most he goes into passive voice to talk about "discrimination", but its ok because its being fixed slowly but surely.

I really hope people don't fall for these empty gestures anymore. The difference between what they say and what goes on should really show just how much they don't care.

      empty gestures

Liberals love that shit though. In tweet replies they say stuff like "Thank you, Mr. President." or "Thank you, senator." They really think it means something.
