Serious question, are you "Good ol' Raisins and Nuts" or GORN?

      spoiler

Originally I only needed the article link for the picture, but it turned out to be pretty good I recommend checking it out.

Self-transcendence is having the willingness and malleability to change one’s mind when confronted with new things about the world. It is a type of conversion. Lonergan thought that this would happen as an intellectual conversion, a moral conversion, and also a spiritual conversion as people grew in their ability to love. The kind of intellectual and moral conversion requires a humility on the part of the person seeking truth.

That little snippet is pretty in-vein with some of the recent stuff Matt has been riffing about on his vlogs.

Lonergan says “we move towards the construction of a world-view and towards the exploration of what we ourselves could be and could do.”

This is pretty explicitly the "Species Awareness" Matt refers to. Wouldn't have guessed the article author was a Catholic theologist from Canada tbh.

I remember a twitter struggle session about revolutionary re-education requiring men to attend therapy. And somehow that was deemed fucking controversial, like "I don't need therapy you dumb b*tch!" Yeah you do mah guy.
