Bizarrely enough they made a video about wizard game a month or so ago talking about how buying it is supporting Queen Terf yet they then go and spit this shit out.

I'm not watching it because I never liked his podcast stuff.

Is he defending them in the sense of it being a superior workplace environment/from food quality standards, or is he just randomly saying it's good that they donate to anti LGBTQ stuff.

Because I know Chick-fil-A sucks and all but like all the companies in this country donate to heinous shit

The weirdest thing to me growing up where Chick-fil-A is a staple fast food restaurant, is that basically every gay kid in my highschool worked there. The company is on its face very anti LGBTQ, but if tomorrow you made it a co-op, it would be gay as fuck

I imagine straight guys would get filtered out by having to say “my pleasure” 1000 times a day

He's talking about their management style and franchise model. He detailed the various hate groups that Chick FIL a what they've done

Yeah all companies donate to heinous shit and I've got to assume larger companies are exerting more influence on the world. Like a dollar going to McDonalds is more directly deforesting the Amazon and such things so it's as bad at best, probably worse

You won't catch me at Chick fil a since they are nowhere close to me. Is it definitively the most evil food place? I cannot believe that the Yum Brands shareholders are doing any good with their dividends. My assumption is that larger international chains are doing more to erode working conditions worldwide and the environment due to the scale they operate on. And would be the ones that cause the most damage.

My theory is that McDonalds must be involved with the state dept since it is the symbol of American capitalism that appears as soon as a country starts "liberalizing" its economy. I've got nothing to back this up

It'll be really funny after the revolution when we discover you're right and McDonald's has been a CIA front the whole time, Burger King of course is an MI6 operation and Wendy's is just Wendy's

          It's still evil but it's just Wendy's

any large capitalist enterprise would do/does all that shit. the homophobia out of a chik fil a situation is over and above the crimes of the system.

ten companies 1/10th the size of mcdonalds aren't automatically better than mcdonalds

I don't feel morally righteous, I feel like I live under capitalism and am complicit in its crimes by my own existence in the society I live in.

I just don't really give that much of a shit about which evil oligarch gets the money.

Being said I don't eat fast food particularly often anymore. Not like I'm a diehard Chick-fil-A fan or anything
