It is sincerely wild how little Biden’s policies differ from Trump’s

Liberals: "Trump's tariffs are so incredibly stupid."

Also Liberals: "Let's keep them now."

Look up how much fucked up shit trump-moist signed into law or demanded by way of executive orders, and then look up how many of those were actually canceled or even dialed back by biden-troll .

What's really fucked up on top of all that is how Obama did the same thing with all the evil shit Bush signed into law

Then there's the things Trump did just to spite Obama like breaking the Iran deal and amping up the Cuban embargo after Obama started to ease it up a bit

Think of all the libs who voted for Biden thinking they were getting a third Obama term and now Biden isn't even willing to defend the only parts of Obama's legacy worth keeping

obama-socialism took no-oil horrid education "reforms" and made them worse. I take that personally. It's a big part of what pushed me from liberal to leftist.

I would also love a comparison of Biden's and Trump's policies that highlights how little they differ. I searched around a little and to zero surprise I could only find cringey Biden-worshiping libshit. Some of it was a little helpful though, like this "core differences" listicle presumably from before biden was elected, "Biden vs Trump Policies: 15 Unbiased Differences and Similarities". It's only helpful because you can just go down the list of things that Biden was supposed to do better than Trump (according to liberals) and see how every single one of them that was actually a good policy, was something Biden either failed to do, did the same as Trump, or actually did worse than Trump.

A perfect example is right there at the top before the list even starts:

The main difference between Joe Biden and Donald Trump’s policies is that Joe Biden believes that the government has a collective force to combat coronavirus and rebuild the economy whereas Donald Trump believes that tax reductions and regulatory cuts are key economic cures.

        hypersus

There's also this post from a few weeks ago dunking on some redditor's reasons why "Biden has accomplished more than any president since FDR" that has some good examples in the comments.

Liberals creamed themselves when Biden was elected, but not because they ousted Trump, but because they crushed the budding leftism.

I think you're underestimating how much rank and file libs absolutely fucking despise Donald Trump here tbh. Its not for any coherent ideological reason of course its all aesthetics and things Biden is barely or not better on but they do genuinely hate him. In fact I think your average lib voter who isn't super ideologically engaged hates him much more than they do Bernie, if they hate Bernie at all (I'm reminded of how they put actually did put Bernie in that corny Endgame edit for example).

this also isn't highlighting the fact the media spent trump's entire presidency telling their watchers to hate every particle of trump possible - outside of him acting "presidential", such as violating Syrian sovereignty, among other things - to the point the entire democratic electoral plan became pushing for any establishment clown into the whitehouse.

I believe a lot of their animosity is also MAINly motivated by liberal classism. Deep down, they believe that the US is some Fisher King realm, so the rulers need to always be "respectable", and "conciliatory". Anyone who channels and amplifies working-class people's legitimate grievances, either through bigotry or through leftist-adjacent discourse in the political class is gauche, loud, and angry, and the country will fall to ruin because we no longer have calm white men running the show.

I'm sure some people felt that way, but I'm 100% certain that what little enthusiasm there was outside of born-yesterday rubes was from those whose brains bore the image of Trump like a tumor, not because Trump impacted them but because they are effectively in an abusive relationship with the Dem-aligned media, constantly blaring every single day about how uniquely, pressingly evil Orange Man is, such that they felt desperate to turn off the alarms by having him removed from office. That is the core of it, speaking as someone who knew many of those people. The media trained them into basically having a personality disorder and they would sooner let the media hurt them than question its legitimacy, because Trump is bad and the "enemy" of my enemy must be my friend, right?
