Ok I’m not even American so I won’t be voting anyway. With that out the way I feel like Biden would be better for the left. Why? Because liberals wouldn’t be able to blame everything on Trump and be smug as fuck. Shit is going down and while the Republicans are in power liberals can pretend that everything thing would be jolly under their presidency. If Biden is president and things are still going to shit the left can actually attack liberalism properly.

Problems with this view?

It would be, if it wasn't for the fact the neoliberal wing of the Democratic Party won a powerful political mandate with the defeat of Bernie Sanders, a mandate that would be infinitely strengthened with the neoliberal defeat of Donald Trump

There would be no "Proper" leftist attack on the dems because the left would be seen as a discredited political force in American politics, "we don't need you, we beat Trump all on our own" that will be the primary narrative going forward if Biden wins. On top of a massive anti-leftist/progressive backlash by the media and the monied powers, since the right will no longer be seen as a threat

If Biden wins the left is dead for the next 8 years and the right will be resurgent...again for the third time in less than ten years, we saw it happened under Obama, and we'll see it accelerated under Biden
