      They made an alternative site far before their subreddit was banned.

      It has tens of thousands of users, likely at least 100,000 with how many votes the posts get.

      They locked r/The_Donald and kept the new site as a stickied post for months.

      When Reddit banned the subreddit, it was already long abandoned.

        They didn't ban CTH as cover so they could ban T_D without a shitstorm; they wanted to ban CTH and used the bloated corpse of T_D to "both sides" it.

          The biggest real sub they banned that day was CTH. Biggest community of leftists on social media.

          @Beatnik saved us by making that Discord hours before. This place would not exist without that.

        Except they made it months earlier and did a far superior job at porting their base over.

        Posts get thousands of upvotes there and that likely means they have 10,000s of people online regularly.
